About Me
I’m originally from the Bronx, New York, and now based in New Jersey. As a first-generation child of immigrant parents from Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast, I grew up surrounded by rich cultural expressions—through clothing, language, and community. This upbringing continues to shape the way I see the world and informs my creative lens, where imagery becomes a tool for identity, storytelling, and self-expression.
As a creative, I produce work that reflects both the people who bring it to life and the audience it’s intended for. Through any creative endeavor, I create visuals that feel intentional, collaborative, and emotionally grounded.
My journey began with my nail business, Nailed.ByM, which I’ve built over the past six years. Rooted in self-expression and community, it gave me a foundation in both artistry and entrepreneurship. I later expanded into photography—a space that feels natural to me as the daughter of a videographer and photographer.
In my photography and creative direction work, I take on the technical and editorial process—shooting, editing, and curating—but the heart of my work is in community and collaboration. Working alongside friends and fellow creatives as models, stylists, and collaborators, each project becomes a shared experience. My final images reflect not just a concept, but the energy and story behind it.
I’m also a Public Relations student at American University, double majoring in Justice, Law & Criminology, where I continue to deepen my understanding of strategic communication, branding, and audience engagement. Across all of my work, I aim to create narratives that connect and resonate—because at its core, love is an action—and creation is one of the ways I practice it.
